Scanfil Mysłowice has strengthened its measurement capabilities by introducing a new 3D measurement solution, the Creaform HandySCAN 3D scanner. The investment adds value for customers by enhancing precision, flexibility, and efficiency, while improving manufacturing processes and quality inspection at the factory.
The new 3D scanning technology enhances dimensional inspection by improving the measurement accuracy and efficiency. It also improves quality control and quality verification, helping to ensure that customer requirements are met consistently and accurately.
In addition to dimensional inspection, the solution contributes to reverse engineering capabilities. Existing components can be captured quickly and accurately with 3D scanning, which enables the creation of CAD models and thus supports product development, maintenance and manufacturing needs.
